Stan Lokalu app. Last updated: 15 October 2026

In short: your properties, protocols, photos and signatures stay on your device, or in your own private iCloud if you turn on sync in Pro. There is no account and no server of ours for them. The app sends only anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, never protocol contents, addresses, names, photos or signatures. No ads, and your data is never sold.

What Stan Lokalu does

Stan Lokalu creates handover and return protocols for rental properties, with photos, meter readings and signatures, and turns them into a PDF.

What you enter

The property address, the full names of the landlord and the tenant, optionally a phone number, an e-mail address and an ID number, meter readings, notes, photos and signatures drawn on the screen. This is personal data of third parties, so enter only what the protocol needs. The ID number is optional.

Where the data is

By default, data and photos are stored in the app's storage on your device. Photos do not go to your camera roll. GPS location is not saved. Device backups (for example iCloud Backup, if you turn it on) may include the app's data, according to your system settings.

iCloud sync (Pro)

If you turn on iCloud sync in Stan Lokalu Pro, properties, protocols, signatures and photos are stored in your private iCloud (CloudKit, an Apple service) and appear on your devices that use the same Apple ID. Photos take up space in your iCloud. We have no access to this data. The app does not read or change the Photos app. You can turn sync off in More.

Camera and photos

The app asks for camera access only when you add a photo. Choosing a photo from your library uses the system picker, without giving the app access to your whole library.

Sharing the PDF

You create the PDF protocol and send it yourself through the iOS share sheet (AirDrop, Mail, Messages, Files). Once sent, responsibility for further processing of the document lies with the sender and the recipient.

Purchases

The one-time Pro purchase is handled by Apple. The app never sees your payment details or Apple ID, only whether Pro is active.

Usage statistics and crash reports

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. They receive anonymous events (for example that a protocol was signed or that the Pro screen was shown), the app version, the device model and system version, an approximate country or city derived from the IP address, a random installation identifier and, if the app crashes, a crash report. They never receive protocol contents, property addresses, names, photos or signatures. This is used only to fix problems and improve the app. The app has no ads and does not track you across other apps or websites. Google processes the data under its own privacy policy as our processor.

Controller

The controller of the data collected by the app (crash reports and usage statistics) is IdeaApps, contact: [email protected]. The contents of protocols never reach us, so the user of the app is responsible for the data of the people named in the protocols.

Legal basis and your rights

We collect usage statistics and crash reports on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in developing the app and fixing bugs. The data is kept for a limited time and may be processed by Google outside the EU under standard contractual clauses. You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, to object, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Write to the contact address.

Deleting data

Deleting a protocol or a property in the app removes its data and photos from the device. Deleting the app removes all data stored on the device. We cannot recover it.

Children

The app is not intended for people under 16.

Feedback form

The support page links to a Google Form where you can report an idea or a problem. What you type there reaches us through Google Forms and is covered by Google's privacy policy. The app only opens the link, and using the form is optional.

Changes

If what the app collects changes, we will update this page and say so in the app.
